Stars Engine — How It Works
Understanding the astrological computation that powers the SI prediction reports.
What the Stars Engine Does
The Stars Engine computes a complete birth chart from a client's birth date, time, and location using JPL ephemeris data — the same NASA-grade astronomical calculations used by professional astrologers. It determines exact planetary positions and computes 128 distinct data layers spanning Western tropical, Vedic sidereal, Human Design, Gene Keys, Ba Zi, Mayan, cosmobiology midpoints, and more.
A dedicated structural_integration computation module maps this architectural data onto the 10-session Rolfing protocol — translating planetary positions into fascial holding patterns, Gene Key shadows into body regions, and cosmobiology midpoints into structural friction warnings.
What the SI Report Contains
Client Summary
HD type, authority, defined/open centers, elemental distribution, Ayurvedic constitution. The high-level architecture of the person's biopsychological structure.
Armor Map
7 Reichian character armor segments (Ocular through Pelvic) mapped to fascial patterns. Each rated Armored/Flexible with session numbers. Tells you WHERE the body holds its story.
Polyvagal Guidance
Nervous system profile: ventral capacity, sympathetic risk, dorsal shutdown risk. Pacing instructions, shutdown signs, whether verbal check-ins are reliable.
Session Plan (10 Sessions)
Per-session: Rolfing focus, armor priorities, chakra context, emotional release potential, pacing, schema therapy notes, structural friction.
Gene Key Shadows
64 Gene Keys mapped to body regions. Gates activated by planetary positions — each shadow names the fascial holding pattern the client's structure is organized around.
Cosmobiology Friction
Ebertin midpoint method: when two planets bisect a third, tension patterns emerge. Saturn midpoints = fascial restrictions. Mars = inflammatory patterns.
Contraindications
Safety flags from polyvagal risk scores, armor density, and HD open center vulnerability patterns. What to watch for, when to slow down.
Practitioner Notes
Saturn placement (fascial network tendency), gravitational baseline, open center field dynamics. Strategic guidance for working with THIS specific client.
How the Mapping Works
Planets → Body Regions. Each planet in a sign activates a specific body territory. Saturn in Scorpio = pelvic floor as structural anchor. Mars in Taurus = throat and neck as tension zones. The planetary ruler of each sign governs the anatomical territory.
HD Centers → Holding Patterns. Open centers absorb and amplify external energy. Over time this creates fascial holding: open Solar Plexus = braced diaphragm, open Root = hypertonic psoas, open Spleen = adhesed visceral ligaments. The armor map translates center mechanics into tissue predictions.
Gene Keys → Fascial Shadows. Each of the 64 Gene Keys has a Shadow (contracted expression) and a Gift (transformed). The Shadow name describes the fascial holding: Gate 33 (Forgetting) = anterior neck closure, Gate 21 (Control) = sternal armor, Gate 60 (Rigidity) = global superficial tension. Activated gates derived from planetary degree positions.
Cosmobiology → Structural Friction. When three bodies form a midpoint structure (A/B = C), the third body is under tension. Saturn midpoints reveal where fascia is under chronic load. Multiple Saturn midpoints in a session territory = high-priority friction zone.
Polyvagal → Session Architecture. The nervous system profile determines pacing, depth, and integration pauses. High dorsal risk requires extreme titration — 5-min work blocks with 2-min integration. High sympathetic requires grounding before upper-body work. Ventral capacity tells you whether the client can accurately report their internal state.
Important: This Is a Hypothesis, Not a Diagnosis
The Stars Engine produces architectural predictions based on birth chart computation — not clinical assessments. Every prediction should be verified against in-session observation. The body on the table is always the authority; the chart is a working hypothesis. Use the Confirm/Deny buttons to track which predictions match your clinical experience.
